"ADVOCAAT" Liqueur

I wrote a while ago that I was gifted a bottle of brandy, but I had no idea what to do with it.

Well, now I know, and I've even put it into practice. I present to you a recipe from an absinthe enthusiasts' forum. By the way, it looks like it will actually be drunk before the week is up, let alone a week and a half — it turned out that delicious. You can make it in 20 minutes. The only thing that seriously stumped me was the vanilla — where to get it, and how much to put in.

This is an amazing liqueur with an unusually long vanilla sponge cake aftertaste.

10 egg yolks from brown (not white) eggs.
turn them into a smooth mixture with a whisk, remove the white cords from the eggs...

pour in 1 sachet of vanillin and mix again...

1 can of delicious condensed milk (I use Molochnaya Strana "Cream")
pour it into the yolk mixture and mix thoroughly...

you get this super thick mixture, that's exactly right!

pour 250 ml of cognac or brandy (even the cheapest kind, it makes no difference here, since commercial liqueurs just use a mix of alcohol + brandy anyway) into the prepared mixture and mix again with a whisk.

the final stage: pour in 120 ml of 10% cream and mix for the last time.

then pour everything into a 1L PET bottle and leave it in a dark place for 4 days, after which we filter it through a medium or fine strainer into a glass bottle (don't filter through cloth, it won't work 8-) and we get about 0.75 L of excellent liqueur...

DO NOT DRINK IT! keep it for a week to a week and a half in a dark place, let it mature and it will be - WOW!
Best enjoyed at room temperature or slightly chilled, without adding ice (ice makes this liqueur a bit harsh) Honestly speaking, I bought the Dutch liqueur Advocaat De Kuyper for 500 rubles for 0.7L, and it's exactly the same as my recipe, except the commercial one is yellower in color, it has "Curcumin" and "Sunset Yellow" dyes in it! Also, this liqueur will be madly loved not only by gentlemen, but by their ladies too!

Happy tasting,
Yours, Infiengham.
